"John Kerry's record on national security--troubling" --Bush ad
Voted against a string of weapons, planes....voted against body armor for our troops.

"John Kerry's record on national security--troubling"

And I'm supposed to seriously think of Gephard, Bayh, Vislak (or whatever), Edwards as VP????????????

Clinton said point blank--without a strong national security platform, Democrats will LOSE in 2004.

Is Kerry going to ignore that advice, particularly now that the Bush escapades have gone South???

These ads keep rolling.........when do we get rolling? With whom? Bayh?????

Please, let get serious...Clark, it simply has to be Clark. Guts and not afraid to take on Bush and Cheney.

If there is a god.....Clark. Please.

1. Kerry's record is troubling?
Don't you think that the fact that Bush's record is appalling is kind of a mitigating factor here?

The biggest problem is the stupid sold-out media, who will repeat all the right-wing drivel all day long.

4. This ad is even more troubling
Political advertising has always been rife with distortion. This one sets a new low. It's using votes from ten years ago in connection with "the war on terror". Then it blames Kerry for the troops not having body armor and we are left with the impression Kerry is to blame for the American dead in Bush's war.

Clark would indeed be a good counter to the string of lies yet to come. This campaign is just getting started.

5. the first salvo responding to this Bush smear was launched today
Did you hear the Democratic response to Bush's radio address today? We will be hearing more from 1st Lt. Paul Rieckhoff. Believe it.

Bush will have to eat those ads before Kerry is done with him.

and

I do feel that the Kerry campaign needs to get out the baseball bat and strike directly at the temples of these assholes and take them down.

I see these ads and feel they are being unanswered and most people are frankly too goddamn lazy to do their homework.

8. Louisville Slugger indeed
Get out the bat and start swinging. Kerry's folks are not dumb, but they need to remember the ghost of Dukakis. I get the feeling Kerry would really like to rip into them (the "off-mike" remarks) but they are holding back.

THE PUBLIC WON'T DO THE HOMEWORK!! This is what Lee Atwater knew in '88 and Gingrich knew in '94.
