Watch John Kerry's New Ads and Join the Campaign
http://www.johnkerry.com/features/heartandlifetime/index.php

Our new ads answer George Bush's barrage of attack ads with a strong, clear and positive message. John Kerry is committed to building a stronger nation. He understands the difficulty Americans are facing and he has a plan to solve them.

John Kerry volunteered to serve in Vietnam before returning to enter a life in public service. Throughout his career, he has always taken tough positions and stuck by them – even when they weren’t popular. Half a million supporters on our email list have made it possible to take John's message to the American people. But this race has only just begun -- and as much as we've accomplished this spring, we’ve got to do it all twice as big this summer.

2. They are nice, feel-good ads.
A lot like the Morning In America ones for Reagan.

Is anyone else driven completely nuts by the obligatory tag line "I'm John Kerry and I approve of this ad"? There's something so servile about it, that I cannot stand to listen to it, even if my favorite politician in the whole world is saying it at the end of the best ad ever.

3. It's required by new campaign finance law. Not a thing we can do about it.
It doesn't bother me a bit, though.

7. Don't be discouraged, dolstein. After Bush's $60M in ads, it's a dead heat
There's plenty of time. These positive and uplifting ads are a great way to introduce John Kerry to the inattentive and will be well received by the electorate in battleground states and by the news junkies on the cable news channels.

5. Solid, positive ads - both mention his birth in an army hospital as well
as featuring two men who served under him in Vietnam who say he saved their lives.

6. Best ads yet! Absolutely terrific!
Kerry has an absolutely terrific story to tell, and he can win the election just by telling people who he is. Let others attack Bush - hell Bush is doing a good job destryoing himself as it is. Americans go for fighting optimists, and if there's one thing Kerry is, its a fighter.

8. i like it
I like the "we're a country of optimists" message.

It reminds me of Edwards and I like that.

It's good to see Kerry taking the high road this election.

9. Great ad, very excellent compared to shrubs crap
I hope he's able to air these as much as possible.

For those who want to cry about these ads being late, how about you send some money Kerry's way so he can air him and do something constructive.

11. Fucking brilliant!!
He hits at all his weaknesses, comes across as tough on crime, reasonable, strong, and presidential as hell! That's how you pull in the swing voters.

12. He makes bad decisions about going to war...
Both his 1991 and 2002 IWR votes were wrong. He may have had courage when he was younger but he got more cowardly as he got older.

15. Only problem I have is not
running these ads in NC and VA. I think its a mistake to keep neglecting these states. If anything else make Bush spend a bunch of money there
