Wes Clark should be out there talking for Kerry!
This abuse scandal in the military is a disaster.

Our credibility is at an all time low in the Mideast.

Our military has been disgraced. They are now in greater danger, due to understandable Iraqi outrage. The more info that comes out, seems to point to the CIA, civilian contractors, & others being at the heart of this scandal.

John Kerry has not commented on these issues, as far as I know. It is a delicate situation, because he voted for the war, & because he probably does not want to criticize the troops.

Wes Clark would be the perfect surrogate. He can talk about how this scandal has hurt his beloved Army. He can talk about what went wrong, how the investigation should be handled, & what can be done to solve this mess. He can also be used to send the message that offenses like this will not happen when John Kerry is Commander-in-Chief.

Any ideas?

1. Wes Clark is out there
I saw him on TV just the other day. His words are powerful compared to the so-called "experts."

Incidentally, before he entered the race, Clark was a CNN commentator. To this day, he is the only one I know of who was right all along. And let's not forget, Lou Dobbs wanted him fired from CNN because his views didn't match those of other experts - who were wrong all along, by the way.

3. I know all about Wes
I supported him.

But what I mean is today, now, where are the Dems on the prisoner abuse scandal?

2. I agree....we need Wes Clark out there NOW.
He needs to reassure us and all the world's leaders that a Kerry administration would not tolerate crimes of this nature. He could probably give a very actuate perspective on just how far up the chain-of-command the buck stops.

4. He can't get "out there" if the networks don't want him on.

5. Maybe we should email Aaron Brown
and ask him to invite Clark to be on his show to discuss this problem.
