As President Bush rumbles through the Midwest this week promoting economic policies in a region that has lost tens of thousands of manufacturing jobs to other countries during his tenure, he is riding in comfort in a luxury bus that was assembled in Canada.

1. Air Force One

It is true that most of his travel these past two days has been aboard Air Force 1. He gets on the Canadian bus when it makes him look good.

So many lies.

Edited to make verbs match. Can you imagine?!

3. I noticed that!
Bush isn't riding the bus from city to city. He flew from K'zoo to Selfridge ANG base, got back on the bus, drove to his Sterling Heights rally, then back on AF1 to fly to Toledo for the next stop of his "bus tour".

7. "faux" bus trip just more smoke and mirrors
brought to you by the "HOCUS-POTUS"

photo-op stunt to make bush* appear to be 'regular people'

perhaps the "theme" of these photo-op trips should be revised --
"buy 'merican, ride canadian.."

13. Actaully, Kerry's bus is made in Canada also
Bush, Kerry tour buses made in Canada

Associated Press

MAUMEE, Ohio - President Bush rode across Ohio on Tuesday in a bus emblazoned, "Yes, America can."

Turns out the bus was made in Canada.

So was the "Real Deal Express" that Democrat John Kerry rode earlier in the year.

Both were made by Prevost Car, which is owned by the Swedish Volvo Bus Corp. and Britain's Henly's Group PLC. Its manufacturing facility is in St. Claire, Quebec.

Bush campaign spokesman Scott Stanzel defended the president's use of a foreign-made bus and said many of the components on the red-white-and-blue coaches, along with their engines and tires, are American-made.
