Poll question: Would it help Bush?
If Bush were challenged in the primaries by an 'old-fashioned' conservative whose stated goal was to influence his positions and move him towards traditionally conservative policies - would that help Bush, or hurt him?

Wouldn't it be the mirror image of the "help" Nader gave President Gore?

your analogy is off because Nader didn't run in the primaries.


This would be more like a liberal candidate challenging Kerry in the primaries with the stated goal to move Kerry's positions to the left.

Bush isn't a conservative--he and his cronies are simply imperialists.

Frightening--I'd vote for a conservative in the Goldwater mold if it meant defeating this louse.

Pukes are all about "showing strength". That would make Bush look like the incompetent fool he is. One can only dream.
