2. Warner and Graham better be careful with Clark.
I doubt he'll be in a mood to suffer fools and bs.

5. Nope, not with Rummy and the Chickenhawks tryin their damndest
to blame the grunts for their own failings.

It was Rummy, let's not forget, who decided the US didn't have to abide by the "outdated" Geneva Accords.

Watch for Wes to rip that weasel a coupla new ones.

Ever so politely, of course...

8. Actually, Lindsay Graham isn't so bad
Edited on Fri May-07-04 05:16 PM by dolstein
For a RIGHT-WING REPUBLICAN, of course. He has, on occasion, displayed an independent streak. He's no Lincoln Chafee, or even a McCain or Hagel, but he's not a Rick Santorum. Actually, I suspect that Rick Santorum doesn't much care for Lindsay Graham . . . or his lifestyle.

I mean, really, what would the other "vetted" contenders bring to this table???

20. Clark appears to be getting more prominent air time now
I wonder if the Kerry campaign is seeing how he fares to judge whether he should get the VP slot.

22. This is no audition
Kerry's been having Clark speak in his stead since February. Clark presented the Democratic response to Bush on CNN while Kerry was on vacation, and that was the first week in March. Obviously Kerry's still more than happy with his surrogate.

It's nice to have a little bit of a forwarning on these appearances.

I usually only hear about them after they've happened.
