Who is going to the Maine Dem Convention?

It's only a little over a week away. What DUers will be there? (I tried this thread on the State specific page and it died a quick death.)

I'll be there Thursday for a meeting and then through the whole event. I'm a candidate for National Kerry Delegate.

We should try meeting up at some point.

5. So there was no no trouble counting 15,000+ votes?

I stand corrected, if that's the case.

You can roll your eyes all you want but it has been my experience that problems with vote counting are intentional.

I'm not going to get back into the discussion of how backwards Maine is for counting things by hand but suffice it to say that there was nothing intentionally dishonest in our vote count and I'm actually insulted that someone would even suggest it.

7. Who said "dishonest?"

Don't take it personally. I said "intentional." Although it could be dishonest, or lead to dishonesty, it is really representational of how cavalier public officials are with the bedrock of democracy. It's not a shot at Maine, you or Kerry. My state sucks, too.
