and actually 3 have told me they will vote for Kerry, another for Nader. All of hese folks were Bush voters in 2000. It is amazing how brain-washed they are.
But I found that if I speak slowly, and clearly I can actually see when the lightbulb brightens. Being well-armed with facts has won the day...
That's quite an accomplishment. I read that 40% of Bush suppporters now say they could change their mind before the election. Maybe that is finally starting to happen.
4. I know one who will vote for Feingold - a fundy that won't vote Kerry
The senator's vote on the Patriot Act sealed the deal but he's so radically right you couldn't shove a pin up his sphincter with a jackhammer.
On the upside, I just keep running into people who want to talk about this misadministration, using the torture issue as a lead in to bash the chimp. It's music to my ears.
Now if only my parents will be so incensed when I talk to them tonight I'll be certain there is no way chimpy will win short of stealing it.
