Kerry/Clark appearance in Arkansas
I didn't go, but a friend of mine posted this on the Clark blog:
Hi, gang! I've returned from the Kerry rally. If Clark is not VP nominee I'll eat my hat!
Clark introduced Kerry and said "a few words first."
When Kerry got up to speak he said "He gets better and better, doesn't he?" talking about Wes' intro.
Kerry then went on a virtual testimonial about how wonderful Wes is. A regular LOVE FEST!
At the end Kerry worked the line of supporters and Wes was right behind him shaking hands, giving autographs, and having pics taken with supporters- just like he was campaigning! I took tons of pics but most will probably be blurred due to the crowding. I've noticed when I'm trying to concentrate of taking photos I'm not listening well. I'll post them as soon as I can but I am really tired from the moving of my daughter and not getting much sleep the whole time. Maybe if I take a nap first. I'll try to post more about the rally as well. Can't concentrate much right now. Impression: Clark will be VP.

I don't know if there are any stories out there, yet, but feel free to post 'em if you got 'em! :)

20. Just found out that
about 700 showed up at the airport...
This was from my friend (Arky Sue) who posted the original story I copied above. She's not a DUer, but it was too good not to share with the Clarkies over here. :)

that Kerry respects Wes very much and has a lot of confidence in him (were he to be his VP).

My guess is that while many want him to choose Edwards, he'd probably be more comfortable with Clark, mainly because Clark has a lot of FP experience.

I myself wouldn't have a problem with either and Edwards does have some strengths Clark doesn't have, though the opposite is true as well. Either way, at this moment I myself am leaning more toward Clark. He's improved a great deal on talk shows since the primaries.

Then again, as long as Kerry doesn't choose Bayh or Gep, I really won't be too unhappy.

and my daughter had volunteered to work... but, we had a death in the family and it has made this week a complete mess.
