5. he already has, for months
clark has already been outside of arkansas campaigning for kerry and other democrats all around the country. he even goes to places like wyoming, alabama, and utah to campaign for kerry and hold fundraisers.

12. Has Kerry been with him?
I think Wes is very high on Kerry's list. If they are showing up together at places around the country, I think it says a lot.

Just my thoughts.

16. this is the first time since the formal endorsement
but i think it helps kerry more for clark to go out by himself as it covers more places during the same time. also, clark goes to many places where kerry would most likely not get much support such as wyoming and alabama. they are more conservative and would ignore kerry but would be willing to listen to the general. and clark could convince them to support kerry.

6. Blanche Lincoln
Senator (reputedly a Dem) from Arkansas. Up for reelection this season.

I'm not fond of her and will vote for her Dem primary opponent - Lisa Burks.

13. It's not surprising that you didn't know her.
She's hard to distinguish from any other Repuke conservative.

Her voting record makes Frist very happy.

21. She's a great lady
I saw her at a really on CSPAN and she was so nice to everyone. People were trying to get her moving out of the place and she just took her time talking to everyone. I just felt that she is so real. No bullshit, no nervousness about talking about her position regarding anything or Wes's for that matter. Just True Gert.

C'mom WesDem admit it...you love her, too. :bounce:

9. Blanche must be sensing what a loser * is becoming.
Otherwise she'd have sat on her arse while Kerry was in town.

8. senator from arkansas
senator blanche lincoln. i'm assuming she is in the senate now so probably wasn't there. not sure if gert was there, but i know she likes kerry very much. during the campaign before any votes were cast gert was on some show and a kerry supporter called in. they had a good conversation and gert never criticized kerry. she could have taken the chance to say why they should support clark over kerry in a nice way, but she didn't even do that. she was just very respectful and kind towards the person and kerry.

34. I was there...
and I think I saw her. The very liberal woman running against Lincoln in the primary was in the audience.
Kerry was good. Clark was not bad. The staff was clueless about Arkansas.

26. Love it
In yet another home-state focus, Kerry was praising Clark at his opening rally when someone in the crowd shouted "Make him vice president."

"They told me down here in Arkansas you guys just lay it out, right there," Kerry chuckled.
