Bush slogan "Things are tough, stay the course" is a winner?
"Things are tough, stay the course" is almost as good as Bush's 2000 slogan ("You've never had it so good — it's time for a change.").

Yet the media does not hear what Bush is saying and analyse and laugh, or hear what Kerry is saying and analyse and applaud - it only sits there and thinks "Kerry tends to speak in slow, windy sentences."

Why not a Gore discussion of the color of the suit he wears? - GOD - I have no respect for our media.

1. Apparently it's about being "Strong" and "Steady"
even when completely, disastrously WRONG. Our task is to show that "strong and steady" = "obstinate and arrogant" because it's clear the policies need to change. Better to flip-flop than just flounder and fail.

3. JK Keep it SHORT and BOLD

We know that the media whores are plants for Bush.
And we know that 50% of America is asleep.
Give them what they ask for... Short and Powerful slogans.

With Bush, they know he is stupid but they know what he means.
The repetition is comfortable to the ear. That is also a comfort when you need a stream for the CNN screen.

It also works for those that are asleep. When you are asleep and you mother says " Wake Up, Wake Up" you do it. Doesn't matter if you want to do it. You HEAR her and she is a familiar voice to your ear.

Now JK is a new voice to the ears of sleepers. They can not "hear" him when he defines himself with long sentences.

So keep it SHORT and keep it BOLD JK!

SHORT AND BOLD

5. Worked for Nixon
Remember he had a plan for peace, he just wouldn't say what it was. "Stay the Course" was a Nixon staple used as he wrapped himself in the flag as a good patriot to defeat the evil, whimpy Democrat.

The more things change, they really just stay the same.

6. Reagan. Reagan is the model. Bush worships Reagan.
Probably masturbates over him too.
