There might be a few of these threads already, but here goes nonetheless.

2. I voted Clark, but dammit
I have been wondering if Edwards wouldn't be the better choice, strategically. I don't like Edwards much, haven't for a while now (mainly his Iraq stance), but I gotta say, from here, right here and now, he might be the better choice for VP simply because his pick would force bush/rove/cheney/satan to fight an image war on two fronts - AWOL McFlightsuit and Deferment cheney vs. REAL War Hero Kerry AND Common Man Edwards.

As much as I have a problem with Edwards - strategically I think he might take the ticket from formidable to unbeatable, although the way things are going...

But Clark is still my choice for VP.

This is nuanced, not hypocritical, ok?

3. Clark is a commom man too....
A lower middle-class boy made good. Generals don't make the same kind of money that lawyers do....

I guess image is more important that reality.... especially in national politics....

Signed,

5. Clark of course (knowing me). Consider:
How many media news reports has Clark generated directly attacking Bush Administration policies compared to those generated by Edwards? It ain't close. That is exactly what a VP candidate must do. And no one does it better than 4 Star Wes.
