Can we have a break from the Clark Vs. Edwards Veepstakes?
Clark wins it every time. It never changes. There's no magic, no mystery, no maybe!

Aren't there any other Veep possibilities that DUers can see?

Graham?

Richardson?

Vilsack?

Dean?

How about Al Gore for CRYING OUT LOUD!

ANYBODY???? ARGGGGHHHH!

2. How about CLARK or maybe
CLARK. He is the only one that I'd want for Vice President. He gives us the best chance to beat Bush. But I'll vote for anyone that Kerry choses.

3. Well, I was thinking about that guy, Clark. Then my friend said that he
was considering emailing Kerry campaign and telling them about that Wesley Clark guy.

4. lol
My fellow Clarkies are cracking me up. :)

I think we need a break from VP pick talk altogether, regardless of the choices, myself!

I just wish Kerry would get it over with soon, I can't take much more of this.

5. I enjoy it.
Plenty of people have mentioned other possible choices. Clark and Edwards seem the most popular. Until Kerry makes a choice, it's a healthy outlet for people. It also shows us the wide variety of talent in the party, with so many administration options. Just be happy you aren't a republican, stuck with the creatures they have.

6. Heh
I'm happy I'm not a Republican for so many more reasons than their lack of talent! :)

It just get's nasty and emotional between the Clark and Edwards camps, when this subject is brought up. And it is, over and over and over...

10. Here's a few...
Gov.Mark Warner (D-VA)

http://www.virginia.edu/topnews/releases2001/images/Warner,%20Mark.jpg

or perhaps Sn.Mary Landrieu (D-LA)

...Then there's Sn. Blanche Lincoln (D-AR)

or what about Sn.Bill Nelson (D-FL), Like Graham just with a little (and that's not saying much) flare and just as much experiance...

and then there's reliable Sn.Evan Bayh (D-IN)..

But in the end there is really only one option...

Senator John Edwards (D-NC)

21. Sorry
But I cannot stand Mark Warner.

During one of Wes Clark s speeches, Warner was giving off very ugly vibes.

And he does not have FP experience, which is a must for me.

I will support Graham, Nelson, Richardson, Bayh, Gebhardt {barf} etc.

11. I agree. Neither will be V.P.
Kerry doesn't like Edwards, and I get a feeling that he doesn't want someone that good looking upstaging him.

Clark obviously would be best in the cabinet. He's not a politician. He's a brilliant military man. V.P.'s don't DO much of anything, historically.

(Note: I supported Clark in the primaries, so no offense intended. His genius would best be used in a cabinet position, where he's in control.)

12. Nelson (FL) and Bayh (IN) look like strong possibilities.
Both from battle states, I believe. Both experienced lawmen and politicians. Both from different areas of the country than Kerry.

But both are Washington insiders, so I don't know if that'll knock them out.

Both have been making names for themselves recently in hearings on the Iraq prison abuse matter and other matters. I've seen both Nelson & Bayh on TV quite a bit. They are both articulate and good at answering curve balls. And both likeable with personality.

13. If its between one or the other...
...I get the sense that it would be Bayh... as he is younger and looks better... but then again I really like both Bayh and Nelson... If Kerry's worried about Edwards purely because Edwards would outshine him then the obvious alternative is Warner a moderate populist,a southerner and likable and good debater but not too good ;-)

15. STOP THE POLLS
As an Edwards supporter I too am sick of these polls and posts. I only respond to them because of the outrageous attacks I have seen against Edwards. I don't like being bullied by anyone and some of the people that support Clark have been WAY over THE TOP with their trash talking of Edwards (especially on the Kerry website). I have never said anything to malign Clark and I wish that others would stop knocking Edwards. Both of these candidates are Democrats and both deserve our respect. Being the big fish in a little pond (winning a poll on one website) hardly indicates the preference of most voters SO WHAT IS THE POINT IN HAVING TWO, THREE, FOUR POLLS GOING AT ONCE?

I too hope that Kerry makes his decision soon BEFORE WE ALL LOSE IT.

Robbed pointed out that it's not Clarkies who start the polls.

Complain to somebody else.

20. Hey y'all, if Kerry doesn't pick either Edwards or Clark...
instead of fighting we can start another grieving party. Really, it's the power of Edwards, Clark and their ability to connect to people on a personal level that you can bring up this topic. Mr. K and Dean were good too. I hope there is a place for all the candidates in Kerry's cabinet if they want one.
