Media Alert: 5/16 C-Span: Clark in Alabama for Kerry 5/11
Wes Clark will be on CSPAN's Road to the Whitehouse at 6:30 and 9:30 May 16, 2004.

On Tuesday May 11, former Democratic presidential candidate General Wesley Clark (ret.) campaigned for Senator John Kerry. He spoke at the Alabama Democratic Party's annual Spring Dinner. Among the topics addressed were Senator Kerry's qualifications to be commander-in-chief and the proper definition of patriotism.

1. this should be interesting
i wish they would show more of these campaign events. they show almost everything bush does. but can't wait to see this . i do wish it was the arkansas event though.

2. It will be interesting to see how Clark
does in a Deep South state like Alabama. I'm hoping they air the Arkansas event soon, too, though. We would get to see the two of them.

Thanks. I heard he was funny too. I think this is different than the speech he has been giving before. When he left the trail, he went straight to stumping for Kerry and used the values speech with a new emphasis. This may be more new material.

I know the cowboy boots have been added, and I would love him to add his bush imitation. I've only seen it once in a NH meeting, but it is priceless.
