To date Bush has spent 70 million dollars in television adverts
over the last month and is now officially running five points behind with a public approval rating mired below 45 percent.

THIS is Karl Rove's political thoroughbred?
A Seabiscuit of a pol, famously on-message to the last???

I think the GOP needs to start over with a fresh face...and no I'm not talking about Jeb either...

3. We need to call out all our assets in order to crush him.
He must be destroyed politically. In media, in academia, in the workplace, at school--everywhere.

7. SHRUB has a lot to lose if he loses the election
the repugs will play dirty to win. they will break all the rules. they will try to bride, threaten to win.

it is still an uphill battle. But the slope is being cut down a lot. while the momentum is shifting, the dirty tricks and treachery of the repugs - their contempt for democracy and American values - are frightening.

after breaking so many laws to date, stealing an election, killing thousands and thousands of innocent people, they will not give up power easily.

8. 10,000 homeless people
could pay rent for a year on what he's spent trying to get back into office so he can create more homeless people. And he's still losing.

10. His neg ads run here on MSNBC constantly
Edited on Tue May-18-04 10:33 AM by LeinesRed
I think they come off in really poor taste. Especially after reports and updates of all of the bad news...it looks silly that our commander-in-chief can only beat up on the opponent. Only saw the "positive" education * ad once. In short, the negative ads are only hurting his approval ratings...SHHHHH don't tell Rove. But then, these guys only know the politics of personal destruction.

12. I thought the same thing
After news reports of catastrophes, tragedies and lies about them, Bush comes on and basically says "John Kerry is a doodyhead." It really looks desperate.
