MSN just denied Clark of his rightful first place status
in their veep contest. Instead of just saying Wes Clark was in first place in their VEEP poll, he said Clark and McCain are in first place. What does Wes have to do to get first place and some rightful recognition? Why doesn't the press want Clark and why are they pushing McCain? Inquiring minds want to know. Oh never mind...I already know.

3. Ummm...
Edited on Thu May-20-04 02:17 PM by Padraig18
When the action was in IA, Clark was traipsing around NH. It doesn't seem to me that they ignored him so much as he made an error by not being where the media was. I saw pieces on all the networks about Clark campaigning in NH, but I also note that most of the media coverage was devoted to IA, where everybody else was.

Clark blundered by not competing in IA.

7. That still doesn't explain why the Media
can't give him credit now when credit is due. That only explains the lack of media coverage during the primaries. Don't you think it proves the Republicans and the corp/media fear CLARK the most? They fear Kerry will raise their corp. taxes. A Kerry/Clark ticket would be a sure winner. A Kerry/Edwards or a Kerry/xxxx would be less likely to win.

13. No, I don't think it proves that the corporate media fear Clark the most.
I think it only proves that the media covers what sells--- a 'horserace', e.g. .

2. And he's still tied with Edwards in Oklahoma
The great thing about Wes is he actually cares more about the country than how he's treated by the media. This accounts in large part for their rude treatment of him.

4. Because Clark "challenges the Matrix" of Pravda Lies
They purposefully and knowingly destroyed Clark (by ignoring him and denying him the megaphone wherever possible) as well as Dean (Yeaaarggh! Yearrgghh! Yeaaarggh! Yearrgghh! Yeaaarggh! Yearrgghh!---repeat 591 more times, start over, make a laughable Phony Apology after Dean was destroyed that they were sorry for destroying him) for this reason.

Don't expect Amerikan Corporate Pravda to change a white. I'd be more surrpised if it DIDN'T get even worse and more Soviet as time goes on...

8. About that "destroying"
I asked some hard questionas about Clark and demanded clarification of his positions and actions. Some saw that as an attempt to discredit. It was an honest effort though that allowed this voter to come to the conclusion that he'd be a worthy VP nominee.

10. Good for you!
I hate it when people turn on a candidate because their supporters can be AH's. I turned on Kerry early on because I didn't like some of his supporters on this board who were obnoxious. I soon came to my senses. Intelligent people can reason and change their minds...but stupid people like our resident are stubborn and keep digging that endless hole.

Do you think MSN's poll will influence Kerry's decision in any way?

18. I'm not positive...I was listening...not watching...but I think it was
Lester Holt. I was so angry! Why couldn't he have just said that Clark was in first place and McCain was in second?

Heaven help the media if Clark is VP. What the heck will they talk about if they can't mention Clark or claim he isn't really a Democrat? The topic of discussion will be to analyze why Kerry didn't pick McCain (when we all knew he was a better choice, yeah right) rather than discussing what a great VP choice Clark is and all the positive things that he can bring to the ticket and what a true Patriot he is etc. etc. etc.

"Yes Incog", write them one of your famous letters and tell them what you really think.

19. it's the whole "mccain" thing
they are pushing the mccain thing because it gives them ratings. it's kind of like how the whores kept saying hillary was going to run in this years democratic primaries, no matter how much she denied it. they kept insisting she was because it gets attention and ratings. the same with mccain.

22. As a Deanie I long contended
that they (corporate media) had seperate plans for attack on anyone remotely resembling "outsider". They apparently are still carrying on Operation Ignore Clark to the best of their ability.

I wonder, if Clark gets the VP nod, how will they alter that plan in order to give the perception of even being remotely fair? That would be an interesting case study I think.
