CBS Morning Show/Bush at 41% approval
Didn't catch which poll they were quoting. It might have been their own. They had a graphic showing that Bush approval rating at lowest ever - 41%.
Sorry, no link. I went to CBS web site and nothing there yet.

1. Pretty much every poll I've seen has the Shrub*
at the lowest level of approval of his whole Residency.

He's falling like a faux-Texan off of a bike... ;)

3. Love that picture
The Shrub looks as if he can't believe the numbers he's hearing.

4. How low can he go?????? Below 40% means the RW base is eroding
Losing even a couple of percent of his RW base would mean * is toast and we are looking at a Kerry landslide. The encouraging thing is the erosion has come about relatively slowly but now appears to be picking up steam. That might mean we have crossed a tipping point and there will be no coming back. * can make all of the speeches he likes, it is doubtful that many will even tune in at this rate. Who wants to watch someone they have lost confidence in?

7. Well that can't be right. Everyone on my talking box says that the
country is split 45-45 with the remaining 10 being the truly persuadable. Bush has to have 45% approval then. Surely you read wrong or it was one of those silly liberal groups lying about our great leader.

8. Do you think tonights speech
will make his numbers go back up or do you think that people are starting to see the hand over for what it really is?
