Why Kerry should be rubbing elbows with Mark Warner..
after two republican governors' administrations in Va. (The first was current sen. George "apple cheeks" allen the other began when the less intelligent virginians voted for gilmore so that the car tax would be repealled). State republicans shifted money and paper around AKA eron to make it look as though they were doing a fabulous job. mark warner came into a mess. He had to face us and tell us of the hard realities ahead, and if Va's governor COULD be re-elected I believe he would be.
I think that WHEN kerry enters the whitehouse he will have to do the same thing... It would be wise to take a page from warner's book here.

from john breaux and other southerners because he is seriously considering trying to win some of the southern states other than just west virginia, arkansas , and florida. i hope he is looking and listening to warner also.

4. don't forget about WI
gov. doyle (first dem in 16 years) inherited a billion dollar deficit thanks to Tommy Thompson and his successor and completely erased it without raising taxes or cutting substantial amounts of services.

unfortunately, the guy who masterminded the whole thing (david riemer) lost the race for milwaukee county executive last month to some puke from the suburbs, who is basically getting rid of any social service and privatizing the rest.
