How much attention is Kerry paying to DU's VP polls?
I hope a lot! We DUers are left to far left of center, and we adore this guy! THAT alone should tell him a heck of a lot! If we lefties are so in favor of Clark, just think how positively the more moderate Dems and Repubs will react to him. I think it's clear that Clark draws ardent supporters from all sides of the Democratic and moderate Republican spectrum. He's the best choice for Kerry's VP!

I LOVE DU...but this is not the real world, especially for Veepstakes.

We'll know soon enough. So the endless polls, pronouncements and theories can take a rest.

I think with the situation in Iraq, that leaves very few people qualified: Wes Clark, Gephardt, Richardson, & Bayh {of those people mentioned.}

This site is NOT very representative, I'm afraid. Maybe, what, ten thousand (being generous) active posters, probably far fewer (this out of 40K+ registrations in the past three years; attrition is to be expected); demographics skew overwhelmingly white, educated, upper-middle-class and urban; and the people who care enough to vote in these polls are hard-core political junkies who are already going to vote Democratic anyway...

That said, I think it'll probably be either Clark or Edwards (but I could be mistaken).

19. as much attention as he did to our presidential polls prior to
primary season when Dean and Clark were the big winners and DK was often ahead of Kerry. At that time you could hardly find a Kerry supporter on DU. Since I was a Dean supporter I was very encouraged by the DU polls but then I realized that we are only a small activist section of the party.
