I don't care who is on the ticket for VP. We spend so much time talking about who should be VP that we are missing our mission.

Our mission should be to organize the grass root and organize events in our areas. Use this forum to ask questions and get info so that when we run into a Undecided (witch i do daily) we can be armed with the tools we need to show them the truth and get Kerry elected.

I mean think about it, if everyone on this board spent the time to work for Kerry that we spent arguing about a VP, his election would be a lock.

I have faith in the Kerry campaign that they will pick the best VP. SO i am going to spend my time getting more info to help win WI for Kerry.

2. Undecideds
I run into a lot of undecideds on a daily basis also. One common thread that runs through the thoughts of the Undecideds that I come in contact with is that they are very up on both candidates. It is going to take an unbiased and indepth look at both parties to effectively reach these people.

3. I think that a lot of this VP discussion is useful.
It's useful to the extent that it makes people literate about discussing politics.

Obviously, some of it is just silly. But thinking through challenging arguments and supporting your arguments with facts and persuasion is useful, I think.

And it's not like anyone is compelled to participate.

4. i prefer some over others, but i will be happy with anyone as vp
i think the debate now is more about people defending those they support. even if that person is not picked for vp they will continue to defend that candidate if someone says something about them that they feel is wrong.

5. Sorry but there are some that just won't do...
Any of the hardcore DLC Dems can go to hell as far as I am concerned. If Bayh, LIEberman, Daschle...etc get the nod...I will be hard pressed to cast my vote for Kerry.

7. so...
your saying the VP may effect if you even vote for Kerry. I am sorry, that makes no fucking sense to me. A vote for 3rd party is a vote for Chimp.

11. Nlighten1's just looking for a reason to justify a Nader vote
he/she has been pretty clear about support for Nader, and distaste for those who don't like Nader.

9. I have been working for Kerry at a fleur de lis festival Sat. and
Sun. We were registering voters (had to take pugs to unfortunately), and I wore my Kerry shirt. Many people talked to me about Bush; they are all as frightened of a second Bush term as we all are. The sky is the limit for the neo-cons if they win again. Of course many did not say anything which means no doubt that an equal number of Bushites were there. But I was pleased at the animosity and the fire. We are going to do fairs, street corners, etc and then later canvass the Dems and Independents. It feels good to be doing something concrete. No more talk about the VP please; we MUST get rid of the monster administration.

12. I'd PREFER it not be a Republican...
Not because I give a shit about who becomes Vice President, but out of principle. Regardless, I'm voting for John Kerry in 2004.
