As an Obama supporter I'll admit Hillary did great on O'Reilly tonight
Edited on Wed Apr-30-08 07:58 PM by Armstead
If I was watching without my pre-installed biases, I could support her gladly if it were based solely on her performance and aura tonight.

She defended liberal principles very well and with spirit. She gave O'really as good as she got.

Unfortunately, it reminded me why I don't/can't watch Billo, he's really obnoxious.

Why should he?
Just like Hillary's whine to debate her one more time, there's no reason he should.

This isn't a "truth or dare" contest. I hope he doesn't respond to the schoolyard "What's a matter -- chicken?" taunts. A political campaign is to use your resources to do the best for getting votes -- not for showing who is more macho by going on TV to be ridiculed and pestered with Gotcha questions.

25. Yeah, not like that softball 'interview' with Chris Wallace, also on FOX.
The president's job is going to be much tougher than just dealing with Gotcha questions - and you don't have a choice of moderator. Besides which, the candidate who avoids FOX misses out on all those Americans who do watch it. How are you going to take your message to those others outside the liberal media if you don't present yourself to them? Hillary is sending out her message to ALL Americans.

Edited on Wed Apr-30-08 09:54 PM by libbygurl
would BO dare to enter enemy territory like that - and win them over?
I think she chalked up another win with BillOR tonight, too - at least his respect.

It's not original with me, but when BO went on FOX, he became a Republican. When Hill went, she stayed a true Democrat.

Why wasn't the transcript of his (BO's) interview at FOX in the Greatest Page? Why so few Recs from his believers? Wasn't it a great interview?

Now that is funny! They also don't give a crap about if he debates HIllary again. They know only the person behind asks for debates. They know Hillary refused to debate her opponents when she was running for senate. The Super Delegates know exactly how people play politics and can see through it.

1) "I support the DNC rules." ------- "Florida and Michigan should be seated as is."

2) "It doesn't matter if my name is on the MI ballot, MI doesn't count." ----- "MI counts and
others could have been on the ballot had they wanted."

3) "I lose caucus states because MoveOn and activists take them over and intimidate my voters."

11) "John McCain and I are experienced, Obama isn't."

12) "I want a Middle East security umbrella and will nuke Iran if they attack Israel or those under my umbrella." (So much for a new foreign policy approach because I gotta look TOUGH and get the Jewish vote.)

you mean the principles that says activists dont matter? that grassroots campaigning and personal votes mean nothing?
or how about the fact shes taken money from every large corporation with a dream of continuing to get their way in the white house?
how about other great liberal principles like campaigning on guns and god?

youre right, her liberal credentials are out the roof@#$

hillary is a moderate conservative, dont be so silly.
she only looks liberal because of how extreme almost all of the right is.

Whenever I tried to be fair about Hillary...I got attacked in months passed. But, today Hillary Supporters and Progressive Think Tank are found in bed with Voting Suppression and other Obama supporters besides Amstead suddenly are "rethinking?" Hell has frozen over. Or, something's up...

Do you really think that the line of questioning would have been the same, if they thought she was going to be the democratic nominee?

You don't think he has a room full of filthy material, that he would roll out if she was actually the coming opposition to McCain?

They are using her to validate their attacks on Obama. He lobbed one soft ball after the other that both validated Fox and gave them ammo on Obama, when Hillary lobbed it back.

69. There was no doubt that she could handle O'Reilly
or any other guy for that matter. Hillary has more cojones than most men. She stood her ground, but was charming and soft while she debated Bill.

73. Ugh.

I was trying to watch, but couldn't make it through the whole thing. At times I think Billo used her to bash Obama. He'll bash her later.

She let him slide a bit on the tax thing. Poor Bill's taxes are going up. He might just have to declare a war on Halloween and write another book.

I was critical of Obama being on Fox also.

Why bother?
