Clinton actually DEFENDED Barack on O'Reilly
If you took the time to listen to the interview, he went after Wright in the very first question. She kept trying to bring it back to the issues, at one point telling him that people don't care about Wright, they care about high gas prices. He wouldn't let up, though, and asked her, if as an American, she was offended by some of Wright's loonier statements. She said of course she was and then proceeded to say things that were NO DIFFERENT AT ALL from what Barack had said the day before.

O'Reilly then continued, isn't this sad that this has COMPLETELY DERAILED Obama's campaign? Clinton said, well it hasn't because he's finally spoken out about it and hopefully put it to rest. She DISAGREED with O'Reilly's assertion that this had completely demolished Obama's campaign. She made the point that Obama had put distance between himself and the Reverend Wright.

Now, go back to your little ongoing orgy of lies and filth. Maybe the truth will get through to one or two of you.

4. How dare she defend Obama? Just a political stunt.
You should know that by now. Obama doesn't need and defense from her. If she defends him she will turn people against him.:sarcasm:

5. That'd be nice except for the fact that her GOING ON O'REILLY created that opportunity
None of those questions were unknown to either O'Reilly or Clinton. She knew exactly what he would ask, including these questions. Totally Scripted and opportunistic. Again, using a man of God as a political tool.

13. Obama did not attack Clinton in his interview. Nor did he pretend to defend her.
The difference is, Clinton is pandering.

32. Snort
And yet I get flamed for saying that some Obama supporters have their heads so far up his ass they can't see daylight. It's amazing what the partisan blinders are doing this primary. :eyes:

As a supporter of neither, I wish they had both told Fox to screw off. Yet I at least understand the political realities they each face and can understand why they went on that network. I personally don't blame them or think they pandered, but if one pandered, so did the other.

6. Good for Senator Clinton!
I'm glad that she pwnt O'Liely, and I say that as a proud, committed "Obamite".

I just really wish that neither Obama nor she had tacitly legitimized Faux News by agreeing to appear on that haven of lies and obfuscation.

Sigh...

If only we still had a Kucinich in the running...

7. High Ground Hillary Clinton. How blind, blind, blind we have all been.
Hillary always takes the high ground.

That's why she never pushed the meme that Barack Obama had some nefarious connection to Ayers.

That's why she never claimed that only she and John McCain were fit to serve as President.

That's why her husband never said that a contest between Hillary and McCain would be a contest between two people who loved this country . . .

Yep, we're all CRAZY for not giving her the benefit of the doubt.

Go, High Ground Hillary, Go!

or listen to anything that does not say Obama-Saint, Hillary-Evil.

They continue to live in their own groupthink. Pity them when reality will hit them.

There are far more reasonable Obama supporters than most admit, it's just the loose cannons seem more numerous. And I'd say that about both campaigns. :)

36. Thank you. I have had some debate on the Video forum
about that. Many of them insisted on her "bashing Obama."

Last night I posted the complete interview - two videos - and followed the rules, using the exact titles as they were on YouTube.

Today someone posted the same video, with a flaming title which, of course, this being ObamaUnderground, immediately got the obligatory 100 recommendations, or so, and no moderator even blinking.

Yes, I alerted. Much good it will do.

15. After flaming this in every rally, debate and daily call to super delegates.
All this goes beyond politics as usual. He'd won the delegates, momentum, imagination, so all she could do was make him unelectable. With assists from the media and GOP. We'll see how effective.

22. What's wrong with discussing it with superdelegates?
You don't think Obama talks about Clinton's negatives when he talks to them?

It's not like she calls the SDs and says "OMG! Did you hear his preacher? Is that guy like, CRAZY or what?"

No, she discusses the negative impact the issue has on Obama's electability - nothing wrong with that.

This team will be unstoppable... once we have them as a team.

Good for her.

I'm really beginning to believe that they brought up all the negatives as a "news dump" in the primaries to make them old news in the general.

39. Really? So why is her campaign doing this:
Former journalist Sidney Blumenthal has been widely credited with coining the term "vast right-wing conspiracy" used by Hillary Clinton in 1998 to describe the alliance of conservative media, think tanks, and political operatives that sought to destroy the Clinton White House where he worked as a high-level aide. A decade later, and now acting as a senior campaign advisor to Senator Clinton, Blumenthal is exploiting that same right-wing network to attack and discredit Barack Obama. And he's not hesitating to use the same sort of guilt-by-association tactics that have been the hallmark of the political right dating back to the McCarthy era.

Almost every day over the past six months, I have been the recipient of an email that attacks Obama's character, political views, electability, and real or manufactured associations. The original source of many of these hit pieces are virulent and sometimes extreme right-wing websites, bloggers, and publications. But they aren't being emailed out from some fringe right-wing group that somehow managed to get my email address. Instead, it is Sidney Blumenthal who, on a regular basis, methodically dispatches these email mudballs to an influential list of opinion shapers -- including journalists, former Clinton administration officials, academics, policy entrepreneurs, and think tankers -- in what is an obvious attempt to create an echo chamber that reverberates among talk shows, columnists, and Democratic Party funders and activists. One of the recipients of the Blumenthal email blast, himself a Clinton supporter, forwards the material to me and perhaps to others.

These attacks sent out by Blumenthal, long known for his fierce and combative loyalty to the Clintons, draw on a wide variety of sources to spread his Obama-bashing. Some of the pieces are culled from the mainstream media and include some reasoned swipes at Obama's policy and political positions.

Hillary's campaign is despicable.
