What a whiny man he has turned out to be!!

It’s Obama on the trail bashing Hillary, NOT Hillary smearing Obama as his fans here claim!!

Therefore, Senator Obama has no idea that, despite whatever her campaign may be up to, Senator Clinton hardly ever mentions him anymore. Despite his remark to Hickory that he's told his staff the campaign needs to get away from going negative, Senator Obama laid into Senator Clinton, usually in conjunction with Senator McCain, several times during the afternoon. At one point he said, "Lately the other candidates aren't talking about their ideas--they're talking about me."

As far as Senator Clinton is concerned, nothing could be further from the truth. She presents more ideas on the stump than she has time for. This misrepresentation incensed a group of women friends in Hickory. They had seen Hillary Clinton several times in North Carolina and had come to hear Barack Obama before finally making up their minds. Scratch twelve votes for him.

"Don't hit on Hillary." Only the day before the Hickory event, Jean Weiss, a feisty eighty-two year-old, told Obama, when he called on her, thinking he would get a question, just that. Age admonishing youth, it was a powerful moment that the crowd much appreciated.

would be more accurate, especially with posts like yours.

The audacity of lies. The idea that Obama is attacking Hill? That is NAFTA reasoning, pre-Ohio! Your team does something nasty, then blames the other side for doing it, especially when they have not. Classic bullshit from Clinton

is laughed at and ridiculed.

When a man does it, it shows his softer side.

Hypocrites.

I'm sure if O shed a tear you'd all be talking about how "touching" it was.

And yes, tell me I have a lot of nerve coming on here and calling you hypocrites. I don't care. I'm not a paid schill, was hoping to find some meaningful discourse here. Maybe it'll be better once the elections are over.

I don't think it was wrong when Hillary cried, and I wouldn't think it was wrong if barack cried...(it is however wrong when John Boehner cries but only because he does it almost every other day). I was responding to a post that said Obama "cries"....

So yeah, freaking hypocrite! A candidate who doesn't feel like crying during this hellish shitstorm of a process is the only candidate who I would think was fundamentally flawed! (I'm talking to you John McCain:grr: )

36. I haven't seen her in Indiana, saw her in PA
and Ohio and she really was hitting then, one thing after another and bad. "Can't trust him to take troops out of Iraq"...and NAFTA and half dozen other things. Maybe she just needed me to quit watching her and now she is nice.

I say the Obama rally. That old lady in the crowd who told him to not hit on Hillary was saying it in response to him saying he'd gone too negative, he didn't like that, it was easy to fall into. (Most people think he needs to hit harder but he didn't say that)

She said not to hit on her because he was going to be the next president, he didn't need to. Leave that stuff to her because he really was better than that. She went on enthusiastically promoting his presidency, she was so energetic, it was beautiful. He asked her if she wanted to be his VP.

I didn't watch his whole rally. I did hear a couple of policy contrasts, like explaining the difference on that gas tax. I think he has to address the issues that are against him in her friends ads and I'm not sure that is attacking.

I get confused by what smearing or negative is. To bring up a policy difference and and say why you think yours is better or something but not lie about theirs, that's not negative is it?

I have a feeling he didn't lose those women's votes. Guessing Clinton already had them.

You REALLY didn't want to bring up the wonderful, passionate Mrs Weiss. You reeeeaaaaallllyyy would not like her at all. She indeed said not to go DOWN to Hillary's level, because he's better than that. She said "let her do that stuff", and she did not sound impressed. She then went on to say he "better be president, you GOTTA be president" and gave him a kiss, the sweetheart. Right before he offered her a spot on his team. But then, why would you take the word of an Obama-mite, watch the video, really - I thoroughly recommend it, its FANTASTIC!

61. Yes she did.
These chucklenuts cannot grasp that I am sure. It goes against their insane belief that Hillary constantly takes every single opportunity to smear Obama.

53. Never mind the attack ad that SHE narrates, now being shown in Indiana
Ignore the 527 running smear ads in Indiana, you know, the one "not connected" with her campaign.

Ignore the whisper campaign set in motion by her surrogates.

Yeah, I guess I can see where your conclusion comes from, I just need to stretch before I shove my head that far up my ass.

73. Bizzaro? Seems to me she revealed the very important 'cling to God and guns' pomp of Obama's
Yes she did reveal the truly bizzaro world of Obama's off-camera other self. How many other selves Obama harbours, if any, remains to be vetted.

Hillary Clinton doesn't bash Obama or even mention him on the campaign trail? Damn, that's funny!

72. So let me get this straight.
Clinton spends all her time whining about Obama, rather than talking about the issues. Obama points it out.

Obama's gone negative.

Oooookay.

76. Bashing Hillary?
I must have missed it even though I read the article twice just to be sure. What exactly did he say that was bashing? The only quote in that article regarding HRC is "Lately the other candidates aren't talking about their ideas-they're talking about me." If this qualifies as bashing you have got to be kidding me.

or maybe something he heard from Jeremiah Wright that made him that way.:sarcasm:

81. Obama doesn't bash Hillary. Period. He doesn't mimik her style of speaking and pretend he is her..
like she has done. He doesn't raise his hand and look skyward and pretend he is Clinton acting like an angel. Only SHE has done that. He hasn't called her a name. SHE, OTOH, has called Obama elitist and other names.

It's laughable to try and paint Obama as negative and in a personal attack vengenance thing. Laughable. Wanna be taken seriously? Say serious things, not tripe like this.

82. This is an easy controversy to solve
The candidates keep copies and records of their speeches.

Well, go through them and count the attacks. Categorize them as much as you want. It should not take too much work -- a dozen people could got through the whole mass within a week.

It will be done, anyway, if not now, then in a year or so by some group of grad students at some big School of Journalism; maybe Columbia or Temple.

87. Everytime I hear clips of him on the stump, he is talking about Hillary. When I hear Hillary
she is talking about solutions.

Even the msm has picked up on this, saying this is why she is winning with working class voters.

88. you are saying Hillary has not smeared Obama or had others smear him?
on the trail?

what about in commercials?
what about from surrogates?
what about when she said he worked for a "slumlord"
what about when she said he was associated with "Ayres" as if it was any different than her working for a Oakland law firm that represented the Black Panthers (we can't choose our families but we can choose what law firm we work for).

what about when she said "as far as I know" about his being a Muslim?

has Hillary smeared Obama at all in this campaign? Otherwise what is your point --that she is not smearing him at this moment at 1am EDT in North Carolina? Okay, I grant you that (maybe).
