I have been watching this graphic and it is growing QUITE rapidly!! I seriously think that the 1.5 MILLION! people that have donated by May 6 goal is quite possible if we continue to urge others to donate!

I finally made my first donation to a presidential candidate.

This is the first time i've been so amped about a presidential election to the point where I'll donate my spare art student dollars to. (although this is only the 2nd election I was able to vote..)
I was active during Kerry's campaign in terms of volunteering but never donated cash. While I heavily respect Kerry and find him extremely intelligent; I fear that I was mostly interested in just getting Bush out.

But with Obama, I truly feel hope and change will come to the country with him being president.
I know people who haven't voted in a decade who is following the news daily now in support of Obama. Its an amazing thing.

The odd thing is...I feel extremely happy after I placed a donation. I wasn't expecting giving a few bucks towards a national cause would do this.

Now i'm amongst the 1.5 million! :)
