"Polls" and "Plans" are not reality.
There are some here that say Hillary can defeat McCain in FL and OH but Obama cannot win in those states, according to the latest "polls". Polls are just a photograph in time. They have little bearing on any event that might happen months from now. It is true that they might be more accurate if it were to happen a few days from now. Even then, we should not put too much stock in "polls". South Carolina and New Hampshire should have convinced us of that.

Then there are "plans". Hillary's healthcare plan is better than Obama's, some say. However, neither of them are realized. They are only plans. They are no better than dreams in a politicians minds. Until they become enacted in law, it is impossible to say that one "plan" is better than the other plan because we have no idea what type of plan can be legislated. It is a fruitless argument.

1. Obama supporters put "polls" on here all the time
and revere them as gospel. So now Hillary is up in the polls and therefore polls tell us nothing? Give me a break.

And your "plans" yadayadayada is silly.

3. Which polls are Clinton up in?
And which ones are Obama up in? I say we cannot predict with a poll what might happen 6 months from now. Maybe next week, they might get close to the results, but not six months from now. Plans are only good get if they can be executed. They are not yet realized.

2. Neither plan is as good as the comprehensive universal system we have up here.
It's impossible to say that one "plan" is better than the other plan because they are both equally bad.

4. Agree mostly---I like how Obama describes the values he uses to craft his policy goals, as opposed
to just describing policy goals.

But yeah, it's also completely unreasonable to expect candidates to write a bible on what will happen to the country if they're chosen. Not realistic, waste of time, completely unreasonable. 100% agree.
