Clinton leads Obama by 4 in today's Gallup poll
Hillary Rodham Clinton leads Barack Obama by 4 percentage points -- 49%-45% -- in today's Gallup national tracking poll on the race for the Democratic presidential nomination. The previous two days, she led by 1 point.

Today's 4 point advantage isn't outside the poll's 3 point margin of error. Why? Because that margin of error applies to both figures. So, Clinton's support might be as high as 52%. (Because 49+3=52.) It also might be as low as 46%. (Because 49-3=46.) Similarly, Obama's support might be as high as 48% or as low as 42%, by Gallup's reckoning.

He has served their purpose, now he will be discarded as no longer newsworthy.

Thank you for giving me a perfect example of the sewer tactics some Clinton people so enjoy.

{oe} - Oh, I see you're newly here. I can therefore assume that you are trying to make Clinton supporters look like assholes.

6. Are we not letting opportunity slip away?
Eight prosperous and responsible years under Bill Clinton in the 90s, then followed by eight tragic, disastrous years by another Bush. The thing Repubs fear and loathe most about the Clintons is their fear that Hillary Clinton has the ability and intelligence to once again make them and their party appear like the inept imbeciles that they are, particularly in the administration of a successful economy. For the folks who are put off by dynasty, don't think for a minute that the Repubs are not coming back with Jeb in an election to come. I am stunned to this day that we allowed this overwhelmingly qualified candidate in Senator Clinton fight for her life for a job her life seemed destined for. A successful Clinton presidency, in the wake of this past failed Bush presidency, would have silenced supply side economics for good.

7. Pipe dreams
Let me say once and for all, HRC's presidency, if at all, will never ever be anything remotely close to WJC's. She is more driven by her dislike - maybe - hatred of the so-called liberal-left of the Democratic Party. She is more in tune with the war-monger wings of both parties and above all she will be totally indebted to the DLC/Lieberman's group of influence peddlers - ie big corporations like the pharmaceutical industry, the financial industry, the defense industry, etc, etc.

19. And yet she can win the General, whereas Obama cannot.
And her Supreme Court pick will still be a lot better than McCain's.

It sucks that we are down to these two, but what can you do? I'll line up behind the one who all things factored in has the best chance of winning, is what I'll do.

9. And this is not "elitist"?
.."we allowed this overwhelmingly qualified candidate in Senator Clinton fight for her life for a job her life seemed destined for.

Some nerve all those other people, including Obama, had in thinking that they too could run for President when it was always meant to be Hillary's royal destiny.

20. If the GOP knows anything, it's how to deal with the Clintons
there is a reason they want to run against Hillary in the GE. As for Dems, Hillary is DLC so in reality she offers little tangible difference from corporatist neo-Republicans. Hillary = lose/lose for Dems.

31. HIllary is not Bill.
Not by a long shot. The flaw is thinking that she is just like him, and that she is "destined". She has done poorly in this campaign.

34. That Gallup poll has been a roller-coaster.
Following polls is not for those with weak stomachs. This is Wright II. He took a dip for a few days when the Youtube clips were played in loop. Here is the dip from Wright's return. We'll see if it lasts to Tuesday, and when he bounces back.
