Action Alert: Contact MSNBC and it's advertisers/Boycott
Edited on Thu May-01-08 06:06 PM by southern_belle
It's Reverend Wright all day, every day, no matter what is happening. "Morning Joe" and the all-day MSNBC programming have been continuously running free ads AGAIN today for Hillary Clinton. I’ve seen the O’Reilly interview many times, the “testicular fortitude” endorsement from yesterday a few times, the gas ad a few times. They’ve shown Obama a couple times and it was during a question & answer session yesterday about his feelings about the Reverend Wright debacle! I don’t know about you, but I’m SICK of the one-sided coverage from MSNBC. I will be contacting/boycotting their sponsors and hope that I can get others to do the same. I refuse to be manipulated by a network who is swiftboating Barack Obama.

Will you join me in contacting MSNBC and their advertisers? Remember that your comments have more impact if you maintain a polite tone. These are some of their sponsors with contact information I've been able to find. There is a lot more contact information that I need and would appreciate any help and updates anyone can send me and I can hopefully update.

Please forgive me for not having all the contact information. I am new at this kind of thing...

35. "Race to the White House" would not even exist as a show if Obama
hadn't "lost" TX and secured the nomination. Tucker might still have a job. GE/MSNBC is investing in this program, and its staff and pundits, solely on the Democratic primary continuing. Think about that--they NEED Wright and any shit they can dredge up to wreck Obama---and then the nasty epic battle between McCain (the HERO) and Hillary "Sniperfire" Clinton (the Villain) can begin in earnest, carrying the network all the way through November, with the end result being that GE gets more defense contracts either way.

7. I'd say ABC News is a better target.
One that's much more obviously biased. In fact, the Clinton News Network is also a bigger offender.

At least MSNBC has Keith and Rachel. Some of the other analysts they have are also good. (I don't watch Morning Joe. If I wanted to hear that, I'd turn to Fox News, where bullshit can at least be taken pure.)

You Believe, no matter who our candiate will be, they will be treated fairly by the M$M? Just because you feel your candidate is not being unfairly treated right now...Do you like the media as it is?

People should be demanding better.

There ought to be a way to make it a sticky,

Hillary supporters, you can use these too, when they start giving 24/7 coverage to something like her hair color.

This is not a matter of self-protection by personally avoiding it, or tuning to liberal media preaching to the choir.

The fact is that television is the nation;s information infrastructure. When the holders of that utility decide to inflict this on us, it is like dumping toxic waste into the driking water.

18. This has to be the reason why Rachel Maddow has not been on
Race for the White House since she berated the media for creating false and disingenuous controversy by not letting the Wright story die. I figure that the media is making one last major effort on Clinton's behalf to boost her prospects in IN and NC on Tuesday, and Rachel would be a fly in the ointment of those endeavors.

I figure the media plans an all out barrage of the Rev. Write thing leading into next Tuesdays primaries, and Rachel just doesn't help their cause.

pro-Clinton ads today (without affording equal treatment to Obama) and I said enough is enough (click). But I hope an HONEST independent group is documenting this. The bias is so blatant.
