Despite a relentless Wright feeding frenzy by the corporate media whores, Obama has maintained the high road - never stooping to the politics of distraction or blame.
He took responsibility for giving Wright "the benefit of doubt" in Philadelphia and shared genuine sadness and bewilderment at losing touch with a man he thought he knew. He handled the situation with nothing but integrity.
Sadly, the tail wagged the dog a little and Obama took a hit in polls and perception. I remain confident he will be our nominee, but my confidence that he can end it in 5 days is a little shaken. I've slightly lowered my expectations to hoping he will beat Hillary in NC by any margin greater then the 9.4% she beat him in PA - and in Indiana, just keeping it close would be good, a win by the slimmest of margins would be cause to celebrate.
From Micheal Moore to Spike Lee, from Franco Harris to John Kerry --- celebrities, politicians, athletes, and SuperD's waiting for the right time. NOW IS THE TIME to put Obama over the edge! He needs a strong counter push to negate the media blitz in his disfavor, all those corporate media shills that went practically orgasmic over the Wright story need to be put in their place.
Obama is challenging the status quo unlike any politician has done for over a generation. Real seachange is scary - letting go of power is scary - and we won't see the likes of a person like Obama again for a long time. Now all his friends and allies need to come out of the woodwork and show the people, the media, and the voters that WE WILL DECIDE our nominee, not the MSM.
And there is only one real path to unity.... his name is Barack Obama.
peace~:)
