Clinton Gore 96 Campaign Press release
http://www.movingimage.us/cg96/mickey.htm

MICKEY KANTOR TO LEAD DEBATE NEGOTIATING
TEAM, ANNOUNCES CLINTON/GORE CAMPAIGN

The Honorable Mickey Kantor will lead the President's debate negotiating team, Clinton/Gore campaign manager Peter S. Knight announced today.

"We are privileged to have Mickey Kantor leading our debate negotiation team," said Knight. "His broad political experience and impressive negotiating skills will greatly benefit our effort"" In 1992, Kantor served as Clinton/Gore Campaign Chairman and oversaw the debate negotiations.

Campaign Manager Peter Knight today also sent a letter to Dole/Kemp Campaign Manager Scott Reed acknowledging Reed's earlier correspondence and noting that the Clinton/Gore campaign is looking forward to discussions on debate arrangements.

The debate negotiating team will work closely with Erskine B. Bowles, who is managing the debate-related operations for the campaign.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/01/17/AR2008011703607_pf.html

Still, campaign advisers said the former president is a net plus given his vast popularity with Democratic loyalists. "I start laughing every time I hear it -- 'Is it positive or negative?' " said former commerce secretary Mickey Kantor, Bill Clinton's 1992 campaign chairman and an adviser to Hillary Clinton. "This borders on the ridiculous."

Clinton Informal Adviser on Hoosiers in 1992: "These People are S---"

May 01, 2008 3:15 PM

Mickey Kantor -- Bill Clinton's Trade Representative, a supporter of Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-NY, and an informal adviser to her campaign -- once had some not-so-nice things to say about the Hoosiers his chosen candidate is working so hard to pursue.

As seen in The War Room, watching election returns come in, Kantor said in hushed tones to James Carville, “Look at Indiana, wait, wait – look at Indiana. 42-40. It doesn’t matter if we win. Those people are s---. Excuse me."

You can watch it HERE; the moment comes about 4:45 into the clip.

Barbara Wise (Mickey Kantor's press secretary found dead, nude, in a locked office at Commerce)

Mickey Kantor wrote a biography of Hillary Clinton.

It would be one thing if Hillary Clinton was admitting that yes, she vigorously supported NAFTA, but that support was misguided. But no, as the column shows, Clinton is now trying to convince voters she never supported the North American Free Trade Agreement - the trade model whose lack of labor, human rights and environmental standards made it a tool for Big Business to ship jobs abroad. Not only is she claiming to be a longtime opponent of the deal, but she's actually trotting out former Clinton administration officials-turned-corporate-lawyers like Mickey Kantor - the very architects of the deal - to tell us that behind closed doors she really wasn't for NAFTA. Shocker - these are the same hacks who have lashed their careers to Clinton's campaign in hopes of getting back their White House job

Edited on Fri May-02-08 10:11 AM by wowimthere
She knew what kind of people they were because she's the same way. Race has been an issue they have injected into this process and yet they are hypocritical as this fact it is raised. She's scrutinizing Obama for having been associated with Wright for so long. Look at her. She's associated herself with plenty who have that belief about whites, blacks and minorities in general.

When George asked those questions of Obama... didn't he think about his own interactions with people who worked for the campaign. He didn't say a word while the camera was rolling.

39. My opinion of that video they're trying to pass off against Hillary...
Edited on Fri May-02-08 10:25 AM by Maribelle
the guys were reviewing 1992 exit poll numbers leaked by republican operatives. The comment Kantor made was about the republican operatives leaking fraudulent numbers, perhaps in the hopes of manipulating voters that had not yet voted. This stuff was all discussed in January of 2005, when it had appeared the 2004 exit poll numbers were off. Kantor's comments were not hardly against the good people of Indiana.

The video being passed around appears to be 'conveniently edited clips' stolen from the documentary "The War Room"

48. This goes directly to character
Wright will never serve in a cabinet or influence American policy position whereas Kantor and Stepholococcos both did. Why did George not say anything to the Clintons? Is this part of the reason that George would ask really stupid questions to Obama like " people say your really cool under fire, How much of that has to do with your race?".

Screw em, white n!@##$%", Obamas "coolness". All point to a pattern that is a problem.
