If you thought the story might not make it to the MSM, Mickey Kantor just guarenteed that it would make it to the top.

He wants his attorneys to take on Youtube.

This is going to explode in Obama's face, especially if the person who posted that doctored video has ANY connection--any, at ALL-- to the Obama campaign. Libeling someone with a long record of support for civil rights is probably the lowest blow imaginable. It will be interesting to learn who created that mess, who did the voice-over, who told that person to post that dispicable thing at YOUTUBE, or if he did it all on his own.

The second version of the video was posted, as far as I know, by an Obama supporter not affiliated with the campaign. An Obama campaign aide declined to comment on whether the campaign had any role.

Indeed, a review of the original copy of the 1993 film The War Room, from which the excerpt was taken (around the 4:40 mark) is virtually inaudible. The sound suggests, if anything, that instead of saying "How would you like to be a worthless white n****r?" Kantor says, "How would you like to be in the White House right now?....Kantor, on Friday, insisted that the latter part of his statement never took place and that it made no sense for him to use such language.

Unless he can prove there is a doctored video being used - where someone has clearly added the offensive statements - Kantor has no case against anyone. Even if that is the case, and he can prove it, he still has no case against anyone who used the video as a news item until it has been proved a fraud.

He can sue or threaten to sue all he wants, but unless he has top experts who convincingly prove that the video is doctored in every material respect, his case for slander will fail against all except the actual perpetrator.

He likely said something he never imagined would see the light of day, at a time when Clinton insiders were talking in a crass manner.
