Hillary Clinton will NOT "drop out"..ever..ever..ever
Edited on Fri May-02-08 02:03 PM by SoCalDem
Even after the super delegates put Obama "over the hump"..she will only "suspend" her campaign..

If it happens early, she will no doubt "take a vacation" and will be unavailable for any supporting of the "presumptive nominee"..

We will not see any kiss & make up appearances like Romney & Huckleberry Huck did for Mccain..

She will plead R & R, and retreat..

With a wink-wink-nod-nod, she will suspend public campaigning, but will continue a below the radar,innuendo-driven campaign against Obama with the use of surrogates who will be less than joyous at his selection..

Look for more dirty tricks..not fewer once this happens..
Any attacks could be attributed to "the other party", so she'll be fairly secure in doing this, but she will be waiting in the wings..the dedicated understudy, just praying that the star will fall into the orchestra pit...and she can bound onto the stage with a resounding.. Ta-dah!!

And rest assured, Bill will continue to work over the supers, because by then we will know exactly how many would be needed to peel away, so she could end up the candidate..

She decided early on that he must be destroyed...for NOW and also for later...she wants him crippled forever..

1. I hope you are wrong, and I think you may be.
Many in her campaign have said it will be over by mid June, most notably MacCauliffe.. Dean, Carter, Reid and other Party leaders speak of it ending then. I think a deal has already been worked out. Clinton can stay in until the votes are cast, then the supers will move, and the runner-up will drop.

29. I think SoCal is right freakin' on..
She's learned her lesson well from observing hilary, nigh on these 8 eight years, and probably longer.

Like we're suppose to believe anything terry mcauliffe has to say..and Dean and the rest do not speak for gas lady.

4. That's one of my problems with her.
She's fighting far harder for the Presidency than she fought against Bush.

"Stubborn like a Bush" is not a complement.

30. I know..everytime someone makes
that point it resonates loudly.

hilary thinks she's untouchable 'cause she has the dlc, neofascists, and the m$$$fm behind her but we have The People and we're ready for Change.

5. If Obama wins NC and gets at least 40% of IN
Edited on Fri May-02-08 02:05 PM by rocknation
Expect the "traffic flow" of superdelegates towards him to get heavier.

Hillary's saving grace has been her lead over Obama in the superdelegates, but her lead has shrunk from the nineties to the the teens. If it disappears altogether, she'll have no leverage with which to appeal to the SDs on the grounds of having more electability.

8. Before I thought she wouldn't
but now I think she will, probably next week. Why spend all that energy being destructive when you can be doing SOMETHING, even if that something doesn't include running for president. All rational people know this, and even though she seems unreasonable sometimes, she is not so unreasonable that she will completely destroy her career. She got notice/forewarned yesterday (Andrew) and is probably figuring out what to do now.

26. I don't believe
that for one moment, Yes she will suspend her delegates, as she should, just like Edwards has done. If Obama is the nominee and were to implode, and become unelectable, the country might need an alternative, and she has certainly earned that position.

So stop stirring up a lot a BS, not based on any facts, only conjecture. It will not serve you or your candidate well in the end..........

33. She'll NEVER genuinely support Obama. She'll make a good *pretense* of it...
...but behind the scenes, Billary, Karl Rove, the Republicans, Rush Limpballz and the Lamestream Media's collective nuclear arsenal will be in DESTROY mode until and well after the GE should Obama manage to win that.
