results - political shirt sales at today's University of California market day
went to UC Riverside market day to sell political shirts, art, photos etc. And based on comments and sales, the
first choice for president there is:

The Beatles!

Sales

12 Beatles shirts/mugs
6 other music
5 art
3 political,non-candidate
2 al gore 2008
1 howard dean speaks for me
1 kerry/edwards 2004 leftover
1 Bush -weapon of mass deception
0 Obama
0 Clinton

Lots of conversations though. This crowd here is apathetic, apolitical, and mostly cares about their ipods, iphones, and making money.

There is practically no thought at all of the TWO wars we are fighting or the deaths of all the people killed.
No sense of sacrifice at all.

One person wanted to know if I could make a McCain shirt by special order. I told him sure, at a higher price, with all proceeds going to the local democratic congressional candidate. No sale.
