Obama Makes Indiana, North Carolina Closing Argument in Two-Min TV Ad


Saturday, May 3rd, 2008

Ad meant to appeal to working class voters cites his background, vision for “new kind of politics,” opposition to the gas tax suspension.

“Politics didn’t lead me to working people. Working people led me to politics.”

Spots to air predominantly during evening news in those states Monday, will play in some markets as soon as Sunday evening.

4. He tried a 2-minute ad in OH and TX and it did not work so well
I'm surprised he's doing it again. Maybe these ads will be more effective though.

7. 2 minutes is awfully long
for average TV viewers. Most will probably change the channel sadly.

14. I like this ad a lot better, though. The OH one focussed too much on him. This one is on voters &
the state. This one basically says, "It's not about me, it's about you."
