Guam voter: "She (Clinton) comes back to us asking us for support. I think that's unconscionable"
http://www.guampdn.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080504/NEWS01/805040306&referrer=FRONTPAGECAROUSEL#pluckcomments&GID=kX3wfPDZD9yWo9O4I8u9Lq5eHYD2xKTmxUF5CTMQfq8%3D

A line of Dededo residents, ready to cast their vote, stretched nearly the entire length of the village's old police/fire building.

Self-proclaimed "Democrat for a day" Janet Aguon, who voted for Pilar Lujan as party chairwoman, said her pick was Obama.

"I can't see myself supporting Hillary," she said. "My reason is that she was out here in 1995 -- President Clinton in '98 -- and they both made promises that they didn't act on. She dares to make those same promises and comes back to us asking us for support. I think that's unconscionable."

She said her support for Obama was based on her belief that he understands islanders -- and minorities -- due to his growing up in Hawaii, though she ultimately supports Sen. John McCain, the Republican nominee.

1. Yep - just like in one of the debates where they asked her about
her promises to add 50k jobs in Buffalo - and they ended up LOSING jobs. If I ran
the O campaign, I'd bring that up every single day.

2. Caucuses can be stacked in Guam by either candidate just like the U.S. They show little about what
might happen in a primary or GE.

3. This whining about caucuses is so tiresome. She loses caucuses because the count can't be rigged.

12. I didn't hear them bitchin' when he won TX's...twice
No lawsuits, either..no attempts during their 8 yrs in office to try to influence/change the "unfair" TX system. For someone that acted like she was so entrenched in TX politics for 30 years, she sure didn't make any attempt to undo what nowadays she is calling an unfair primary-caucus system.

This lady's vote was pretty damn important. As are the other half dozen votes that pushed him to a win/more delegates.

17. You are citing a Republican's opinion of a Democrat
A Republican who unashamedly admits she is a McCain supporter. Did you expect something nice to be said?
