If this is such a winner with the regular guy. When it doesn't pass the Senate or House because democrats are going to oppose it because its an idiotic idea and McCain sits there and says the Democrats cost you your gas tax, what will be our response?

Thanks Hill for giving McCain's stupid idea credibility.

3. What short term gain? Clinton says she'll make up the revenue by taxing oil co.'s directly.

Guess what oil companies do when there costs go up.... They raise their prices.

Duh to any US Senator who can't figure that one out. But a big "ha-ha, sucker" to any voter who's fooled.
