Fox & Friends: Debunking the Tuskeegee experiment (& pastorbating)
I kid you not. They were just on attacking Rosie O'Donnell because she felt like she understood why Rev. Wright could be skeptical of the government because of the Tuskeegee experiment. Now F&F is claiming that the Tuskeegee experiment was a myth blown completely out of proportion.

1. And you're watching why?
I don't have any use for them. I don't buy into the whole "know your enemies" crap either. I've seen enough to know those fuckers.

2. I rarely watch them
but was getting some weird TV feedback from my CNN channel, can't stand Joe Scarborough, and decided to venture over to the dark side to see how long it would take them to pastorbate.

4. I wonder if they set a record
It's like they just keep talking about something until it becomes news. Hmmmmmm USS Maine anyone?

I actually don't turn on the TV in the mornings anymore. Well, I may try to get in a few holes of Wii golf. HAHAHA :D

3. While I applaud hokies4ever's ability to parse truth from bullshit,
I'm completely with you on this one.

I think it was in TV Guide about 1958 or so that I first read of Newton Minow's analysis of teevee as a "vast wasteland".

Since then, it has only gotten vaster and wastier.

While in Berkeley in the 60's I almost never watched teevee. While in Austin in the 70's I also almost never watched teevee.

I now, as then, never watch teevee.

Cheers.

6. Like it or not
but some of the IN and NC as well as other voters will be getting their information from them. It's hard to debunk a madrassa controversy if you have no idea how or when it was made.

7. A myth?
I guess we routinely hold senate hearings over myths and settle lawsuits with millions of dollars to assuage people's imaginations.
