Question for everyone who favors the "gas tax holiday"
Edited on Tue May-06-08 09:25 AM by Paint It Black
We all know that gas prices aren't going down anytime soon, in fact they're only going to continue to go up.

So unless you plan to repeal the gas tax permanently, what happens once the reprieve is over? Do you just reinstate it, giving drivers all across the country a severe case of sticker shock? Do you slowly reinstate it over a period of time? Keep in mind that gas prices will be continuing to rise, but now would be rising at a higher rate.

Haven't really seen this addressed.

Also, see if you can find any credible economists who think this is a really good idea!
