Hillary Clinton has been a Democrat for 40 years......
All those people accusing her and her supporters of having anything to do with GOP have no idea of what being a Democrat is all about...........AND you can kiss my Democratic ass. I'm a stark raving Liberal, damn proud of it AND I support Hillary Clinton. Deal with it.

since she started out republican, and switched to Dem when she was @22, while he started out Dem and switched to Republican when he was 51, in 1962.

She and I are the same age and followed a similar path politically.

I changed from being Republican to being a Democrat in 1978, when I was 32.

I'm for her and will be for her to the very end.

101. You are aware that it is traditional to give the president the cabinet
he asks for, unless there are egregious reasons not to - such as wanting somebody to run Education who has previously said they want to eliminate the Department of Education, or putting an extractions industry CEO in charge of Interior.

Condi is incompetant and unqualified for that position, but has never done anything that stands in anthesis to that position, so there was no real reason not to give it to her, if that's who the president wanted.

If You Were Alive & Awake During the Clinton Years, You Know She's a Soldier 4 The Democratic Party!

And for the people of this country.

It takes a real snot-nosed know-nothing to call a loyal Democrat a DINO for being Centrist instead of extremist in polite clothing, like... another candidate.

66. Funny, I could have sworn her every move was to win the Democratic nomination.
How could I have been so wrong? When did she become the enemy of the Democratic party? Before or after she was the first lady of the United States? When did she announce her change of party affiliation? I must have been sleeping or you must be psychic. By the way...when did Obama get in this race to save the Democratic party? The Dems had this election in the bag till he jumped in...now it's uncertain...so who is really the one who put this party in jeopardy? It was not Hillary so you'd better re-think your post.

Who is going to work for the working class from now on? Obama wants to get along with the Rethugs and if you think he is going to fight for real Democratic issues...I've gotta bridge for sale.

It's sad the MSM have started referring to the working class as the less educated....how elitist! That keeps the MSM from having to say that Hillary is getting the real Democrats and Obama is getting the DINO's. That's why Obamites accuse Hillary of being a DINO. They are projecting and trying to hide the fact who is the real one. Obama is the DINO!

especially considering the fact that Clark & others are now telling her to step down for the sake the party. If she does, maybe I won't call her a DINO anymore.

On edit: Clinton is more pro-"working-class" than Obama?? And NAFTA fits into this story HOW? And please don't give me the "Obama is an elitist" meme unless you can back it up with some actual facts.

27. So no Democrat has ever allied with the GOP against their party?
There are numerous examples. Zell Miller, Holy Joe, Landrieu, Salazar, Nelson, Nelson, Lincoln, Rockefeller, Byrd, Conrad, Lincoln, Feinstein, etc. have all taken positions against the party in the past. Does continuing to support this kind of behavior make for a "good Democrat"?

I would say not. I would say that this ensures only more of the same kinds of Democrats.

You can support who you wish, but you do not get to define what "solid Democrat" is for this community...many of us have different definitions of the term. I would wager that a majority of the opinion here holds that allying oneself with Sciafe and Fox News does not make for a "solid Democrat". Nor does signing into law a string of major industry deregulations, favored trade nation status to China, draconian welfare reform, and media consolidation make for a "solid Democrat", either....at least by my personal definition.

53. As have been her supporters
long time Democrats.

Were it not for Republicans and Independents, who may or may not be there in November, Obama would have long been out of the race (even though I am glad that both have stayed, giving more voters the opportunity to express their preferences).

56. So if she's a loyal Democrat, why has she been stealing all the plays
from the Republicans to use against Obama? It's been a shameful spectacle. I've watched elections for decades and never seen anything like this.

Real Dems uncovered BushInc's illegal operations and Jackson Stephens' tapped Dems from Arkansas COVERED THOSE MATTERS UP FOR BUSHINC.

Busy calling Dems who dare not vote for her latte sipping Volvo driving liberals?

Sorry but I look at actual details and facts. She has been running a Republican campaign, based on fear and division. It disgusts me.

99. I am dealing with the GOP policies the Clinton administration brought to all of us.
NAFTA, Telecommunications Act of 1996 which consolidated media, drug testing in the workplace for no good reason, and on and on.
Those are not policies FOR the people, they are CORPORATE policies (GOP).
