BEFORE he was supposed to do the Nightly News ... But that only makes me like him more! I'd love to have a beer (or a bourbon) with that man!

15. Back when he was the anchor
I noticed his speech was garbled a lot. It drove me nuts, to the point that I couldn't watch him. My mom is a nurse and said his speech could be the result of medication, especially for high blood pressure. Who knows.
