Obama Supporters Represent Obama tonight.
Edited on Tue May-06-08 08:57 PM by Jake3463
Now that we know Indiana is going to be below 5%

Let the Hillary supporters get out whatever they need to get out. Don't argue. Let them say the'll stay home. Let them say the'll come to our side now. Let them say this is not over yet.

If we were in their shoes our emotions would be in different places. Let them Grieve in the way that they need to grieve.

37. Yes. Look, I agree that a female president is sadly overdue
But looking objectively at the two, I chose Obama.

It's been a really tough fight, and while I do think it's time to come together, I also understand that Clinton's supporters need time to grieve.

43. You've never actually WORKED for a campaign
if you don't believe that you go through a grieving process when you lose. Even if it's just for a city council position in Podunkville, USA. Indeed, those might be even harder because the workers/volunteers usually personally know and love the candidate. I know those have been my toughest losses, specifically a state senate campaign I devoted too much of my life to many years ago. It still hurts, and I guess I should feel sorry for you that you've apparently never been so intimately involved in the political process. It doesn't begin and end with posting on an internet message board.

Gracious winners indeed. :eyes:

My comment was in response to this:

"Let them Grieve in the way that they need to grieve."

I am a Hillary supporter and I'm not grieving.

57. ????
Most of the people here are of good will.

I know I "grieved" when Biden was out of it.

Lots of us "grieved" when our candidates of choice were out of it.

I honestly don't understand why the attitude. But that's okay.

27. Congratulations Barack
I have supported Hillary from the start and is the only candidate I have ever donated $ to. I really thought that she would be the better candidate (after Biden and Richardson dropped out)because she is a hard ass and would take on problems with more tenacity, but the majority of democrats disagree with me. It time Hillary steps down. She has a great career in the senate where she can get things done with Barack as President. Barack is a good man. He is sooooo superior to McCain that I can't understand anyone voting for him over Hillary or Barack.
