I have little doubt that we will all see Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton step forward within the next few days and concede the presidential nomination to Senator Barack Obama. She fought a good fight, but tonight will end any possibility of her soldiering on.
For now the money to Hillary will now dry up and Barack's already swelling bankroll will begin reaping from Hillary's donors as they get on the bandwagon.
And we will witness the stampede of super delegates who will now know that it's time to proudly and publicly declare their support for Senator Obama.
While I wish Hillary and Bill had called it quits earlier, I now know that they will do the right thing and will bow out with grace and dignity. And should she do so (and I think she will), who knows...she might still make history after all as Vice President of the United States of America.
For those of us who have been simply dying to unite, dying to put the GOP and John McCain on notice that they are going to be swept away in November in a tidal wave that will shame them for what they have done to our beloved land, tonight is our night.
Obama wasn't just the winner this evening, the Democratic Party won, America won and our planet won.
Denver will now be a joyous occasion. We will all be so very, very proud.
