Jeffrey Toobin On CNN Thinks There's Funny Buisness Going On In Lake County...
He said polls were only open till 6 in Indiana which is abnormal

The supreme court passed a law in Indiana that forced people to have IDs to vote

And now Lake County is holing the votes, and we don't know what's happening behind the scenes. He thinks they might be figuring out how many votes one candidate needs and screwing with the count.

This does seem a little sketchy...

11. The count can be manipulated in any number of ways...
They may not be able to suppress the vote in some regions, but they can fail to report certain precinct total that are not favorable to their candidate and find reasons to disqualify ballots in others. Sad but true...

And we've seen how it can be screwed with. Easily.

Also, I'm not sure if it's enforcement had been stayed pending the ruling.

23. Which is funny because it's Clinton supporters that control
the voting systems in those parts.

Whatever. The votes should be counted, Obama votes AND Clinton votes. If someone screws with the voting, we need to follow up on it, no matter who benefits.

12. Dan Burton on nbc Indy said he was weakened by crossover reps to vote dem
Of course, we cannot now how many of those cross overs were chaos and how many were libertarians/republicans sick of Bush. some of both, no doubt.

why can't Limbaugh be charged with vote tampering if one of his listeners would admit they crossed over b/c of Limbaugh's scheme?

If Clinton's speech is any indication of what is going on.... let's just say that Evan Bayh is a bigger scumbag than I ever knew.

14. Interesting . . . . Jim Loewen identifies much of Lake County as sundown
or formerly sundown (meaning no blacks allowed after dark), with the exception of Gary, of course. That includes towns like Cedar Lake, Crown Point, Hobart, Merrillville, and Whiting.
