Even without Lake County, we have approx 1.1 million primary votes vs. 969,000 GE votes in 2004.
That's impressive by any measure. Even cut out the about 150,000 Republican cross overs, once Lake County and the rest of the outstanding precincts are in, we still will have more primary votes than Kerry had general election votes in 2004. There are few states this has happened in.

North Carolina is also on track for this distinction.

That is impressive turnout.

4. It's possible. A lot of pieces need to come together because both of our
candidates represent roughly equal segments of the party.
