Congratulations Senator Obama! A WIN in NC and a "win" in IN.

This is about my third topic post since I joined DU years ago. To say these past few months have been painful is a major understatement. The DU is one of two sites I visited every day without fail. Somehow, in my total inability to truly give myself over to Obama or Hillary, I ended up favoring Hillary simply because I thought Obama had acted in an extremely arrogant manor since he was elected Senator. Obviously, that was just my personal view of certain things I saw. I NEED to get behind the Democratic candidate and my mind has been torn apart realizing that if Hillary somehow got the SD's to go for her, that the Democratic party would suffer more than if Obama was the nominee. Still, I couldn't stop hoping Hillary would do well every dang time a primary came up.

I thought for sure Hillary would win big in Indiana because she appeared to hit her groove. Listen, I do understand a lot of the anger and things that were said about Hillary that were legitimate hits. I did like her health care program much better than Obama's and that was a very important issue for me. Now it looks likes Obama might win all these votes that haven't come in yet from Lake County, Indiana. My old home town.

I always knew that Hillary would not be my first choice. I also had great feelings about Obama being President and changing the "look" and "attitude" of our country. A real true change. I just had a problem with this arrogance thing. Well, Hillary hung in there long enough, Obama took enough hits to humble him a bit in my eyes, which must sound blasphemous to die hard Obama supporters who didn't see the things I thought I saw. :)

I've heard that Hillary has cancelled TV appearances and entire public schedule tomorrow. Hmm, the Hillary campaign just said they never scheduled them. Who the hell knows...

They are also saying that Hillary should stay in the race even if she doesn't campaign much, because if she won West Virginia and Kentucky after dropping out that it might actually hurt Obama.

Gods, they have my head spinning. I want it to be over.

Again, Congratulations Senator Obama! You are now the presumptive Democratic nominee "fur sure". :)
