3. But his new preacher might say stuff. Or his accountant. Or his high-school basketball coach.
Until everyone he's ever known has been FULLY VETTED as suitably perfect friends, mentors and acquaintances for a Presidential candidate, THIS RACE IS NOT OVER!!!

6. Not yet
Let's not count our chickens before they hatch. I would say Obama will be the nominee barring some major scandal or turn of events, but I don't want to declare him the presumptive nominee until Clinton drops out and I don't want her to be pushed out in a way that would alienate her supporters. I think that rather than posting threads like this, we should be reaching out to Clinton supporters and expressing sympathy and understanding. Gloating is just going to push them away and make them less likely to get on board with Obama. It takes time to make that transition, and the last thing we should do is gloat with threads like this.

8. You see it as gloating?
I see it is dealing with reality.

The first step is denial.

We need to help them past denial, then anger and acceptance.

But the first step is admitting reality.

IT

IS

OVER

11. This is as obnoxious as the Bushies yelling "President ELECT" in November 2000
What's the rush. If he's the presumptive nominee, there's no reason to beat people over the head with it before the process has unfolded. It's obnoxious.

12. Why deny the obvious?
It is time for us to proclaim reality, heal wounds, unite and attack McCain.

24. Funny that truth telling is considered being rude.

I was always taught to honor the truth and cherish those who told it.

25. I was always told that there's a time and a place for everything
And that people who insist on uttering "truths" just to gain advantage or hurt others were assholes.

To each his own, I guess.

19. That's OK. Just look at the inept McCain and your fears will be put to rest.
He is a terrible candidate. Flip flopping war mongering pandering shell of a person who still only gets 75% of his party votes in uncontested primaries.

Obama weill wipe the floor with that doddering old fool.

21. I agree!!
Obama has more states and more delegates and there is no way HRC can win the nomination; unless of course the have a Katherine Harris select HRC for the nomination.
