How about Chris Dodd for VP?
He is generally liked within the party. Good foreign policy credentials. Might help Obama with the white male and the catholic vote. Your thoughts?

4. Then we lose a Senate seat
Ideally, he or she would not be in Congress or a Governor. Or at least not a Senator. Clark, Edwards, and Daschle are a good start to the Veep list.

And I believe he would be a great VP, however I think there are stronger choices. Dodd should be senate majority leader.

6. A great Senator that I like a lot
But if he left the Senate CT has a Republican governor. And also I don't think Dodd being from New England helps Obama that much, I feel like he'll be going for a white Southerner.

9. Two senators on a ticket is suicide.
But I'd love to see Chris Dodd as Senate Majority Leader. (I think it goes without saying that we need a new one)

14. No benefit for geographical balance...
Obama will be painted as someone who might as well be from the northeast. so I say "GO WEST young man!!" At least as far as west of the Mississippi.

15. He would be a great choice for me.
The problem is he is one of the few that will go to the mat defending the constitution in a body (the senate) where mere politics rules. Would hate for us to lose him in that body. I would like him as Senate majority leader.
