Some of you may not know...especially if you're new to DU this primary season.
Others may not care.

Elizabeth Edwards is a member here. Yes, THAT Elizabeth Edwards. The one who's married to former Democratic candidate John Edwards.

Let me repeat. Elizabeth is a member of DU. She has posted here in the past (as has Wes Clark Jr.).

I've always thought DU was inconsequential in the great scheme of party politics, but I can't help but think that Elizabeth might pop in on DU one evening and get a whiff of the aroma of the special brand of Hope and Change that permeates this forum.

Who knows? It could happen. She has popped in on threads in the past, when least expected.

She must have been deeply disappointed at times. Though, she may have actively maintained her ignore list.

5. She was very gracious and sweet in the thread when DUers were discussing...
Laura Ingraham's cancer.

There were some wretched things said in that thread. I don't blame her if she pulled back after that.

That thread got nasty...but most DUers were very classy and wished Ingraham well.

11. I agree, I suspect if she were to respond to any threads in DU...
it would more likely be the Reconciliation threads as opposed to the Basking in the White Vote type of threads.

Elizabeth Edwards IS a worthy role model for us all to try and emulate, imo.

It seems you're incapable of posting anything objective, but have to use every post to get in a dig at Obama supporters. I don't care for people who practice emotional manipulation of this kind. This is like the 'Thom Hartman reads DU' post the other day...an excuse for a group preening session and social stroking.

We now return you to your standard excuse 'but there's so many Obama supporters here, I have to address it to them'.

I remember being thrilled to death that not only is she a member of DU but used to post here. I miss her and wish she would post again. On the other hand things can get so ugly here that I'm glad she doesn't post and hope she isn't reading either . :-(

25. Gotta say I really admire this woman
I remember her from the Kerry blog and IRC chatroom. Always so approachable, nice and intelligent, a real role model for our daughters.

Gorgeous picture of a truly wonderful woman. It saddens me greatly that she won't be living in the WH come January.
