You know what won't win in November?
Edited on Wed May-07-08 08:49 PM by Wolsh
An Obama/Clinton ticket. The thought makes me sick to my stomach, and its not because of how much I dislike Hillary.

America is ready for a Black President. America is ready for a Woman President. I don't know if America is ready for a ticket made up of a black gentlemen and a white woman.Like all lasting change, it needs to happen slowly.

"But Wolsh!!!" I hear you all screaming , "How does this Jive with your dislike of Hillary's race baiting".

I'm not really sure, honestly. I know that I do want a non-white male elected President. I just don't want to fuck it up by making a stupid, pandering choice at VP.

Not too much change to swallow at once.

War hero.

All plusses and no real minuses that I can see.

6. I would LOVE an Obama/Clark ticket
My first choice would be Obama/Warner, but Warner needs to get into the senate.

3. Apparently Democrats here don't know any Independents, Republicans or Greens
No one that knows folks outside this narrow sphere would suggest an Obama/Clinton ticket for ONE moment... not seriously... not with any hope of success.

People, evidentally, have NO FLIPPING IDEA...

HOW VERY MUCH

Hillary Clinton is DESPISED

She hasn't a HOPE IN HELL of becoming PRESIDENT

Even Obama is going to have a very hard time overcoming this late start, brought to him courtesy of the Clinton campaign.

9. There is no way a unity ticket would work
The distractions it would face, thanks to hillary's tactics, would be impossible to overcome.

Hillary wouldn't be allowed to campaign about any issues, she would spend her time explaining away her negative attacks on Obama - how she could be his running mate yet she condemned his relationship with Wright, does she know if he is a Muslim, what about his stance on guns, his inexperience - yada yada ...

Imagine them using her words in the video ads against the campaign.
