Someone explain this to me
Why, in this forum, there is a proliferation of posts that mirror one another? Why is "Candidate X should do Y" followed by "Candidate Z should do why" but a few minutes later? Is there some group of people who take pride in switching a few words around to counter others' arguments? Or have we run out of arguments? Or is there some random post generator that is taking everything written at GD:P and spitting it back out in gibberish?

I'm waiting for a post called "Someone don't explain this to me."

1. Unfortunately, it's humans.
They live in their parents basement, post in their underwear or worse, have orange fingers from the Cheeto's they eat and will flame me for outing them.

3. It's a pattern, yes. It's a way for someone to point out the failings of the argument

by reversing the order. It exposes the flaw, in essence.

8. It's something of a DU tradition
Especially in the lounge, where a great many DU'ers spend their time between elections--which, as you know, is a long time.

However, it is sometimes used to illuminate/counter the spin.

9. Bleedover from an alternate universe...
Happens every now and then.... I wonder if they have the same problems with snark over there that we have over here...
