Obama has to face facts: he's won. He needs to start behaving like the presumptive nominee, and the first important job is to complete his ticket.

He needs to name a point-man or committee to start the VP search right now and prepare his short list. By the time he's ready to start talking with prospective running mates, it will be after the 20th, and he'll have the thing sewn up.

1. I agree completely.
In fact, I think he should've done this a while ago. Act like you're the man and people will follow.

2. Yeah, exactly what we need after a quarter century of political dynasties:
an heir presumptuous.

3. The Phillies did that in 1964
Printed up the ole World Series Tickets, had em ready to sell.

I suspect that your paragraph two is already being done.

My one little request, General Clark be the next Secretary of State regardless of who the nominee is.

4. For all we know he may have very well done just that already... Might be keeping...
it under wraps until the 20th, but much going on behind the scenes now.

7. So do I!
I'm bored with all this "I'm in to the end crap"....Obama needs to make a progress into the General Election NOW!

He needs to do a news conference and just tell the "Good Senator Clinton" to " move along, step away from the General Election"!

Obama needs to come out big! National News Conference. Announce his intention!
